Hello…

I am Jeanne Echols and have a small kennel located in Merrimack, New Hampshire. I'm originally from New Jersey and lived here in New Hampshire since 1990. I have been involved in dogs since 1987 ( breeding, handling, and showing ).

I started out with German Shepherds and then into Rottweilers and then I got my first small toy dog a Chinese Crested Powderpuff “ Simba “

He finished his Championship very quickly with limited showing thanks to the help of many good friends and mentors in the breed. I couldn't begin to ever list them all here as there were so many people who helped us in so many ways along the way in his show career. Simba is now " Ch. Ke-Don Simba V Tailgate SOM " (Sire Of Merit). He is my foundation dog and "The King". Simba is a wonderful representation of the Chinese Crested and will always be my special little man... he passed over to Rainbow Bridge at 15 1/2yrs... Until you have loved an animal deep within your heart, you can never understand the pain of losing one... It is amazing the effect our pets have in our lives... The only ones who love unconditionally, and that makes the loss so hard... you will always be in my heart you were My 1st Chinese Crested ... I know it's time and it's ok for you to go My Love for you really does mean letting you go...

My Little Man " Simba " is Resting in Peace now and will still be watching over us and guiding from above from his throne... He will always be My King ... !!!

Simba was in the Top 20 Chinese Cresteds for many years when he was campaigned, winning 5 Toy Group 1st and many other Group Placements along with an AOM at the 1998 Westminster Dog Show and 1st AOM at the 2003 ACCC National Specialty as a Veteran!!!

I have bred many champions and I have finished many of those from the Bred-By-Exhibitor Class. My breeding is very limited and well planned. My puppies and dogs are raised as part of the family and enjoy run of the house and full fenced backyard.

My dogs are health tested and the DNA test has been established for Lens Luxation and my dogs have been tested with clear results and posted in the OFA website.

I am a member of the American Chinese Crested Club ( ACCC ) and various other Kennel Clubs.
